Be Impulsive. Within Reason. Of course.

Scaring someone who's mowing the yard with a push mower is generally not a good idea. Especially not when you're wearing socks. Especially not when said yard is grassy, wet, and muddy.

But some impulses are irresistible. (Or at least they seem that way.) And the ensuring yelp and leap in the air are completely worth it.

Be impulsive. Within reason. Of course.

(And when that involves kissing the lawn-mower [as in, the one who is mowing the lawn {as long as it's your other half}] through the kitchen window, by all means, do it.)

(And when that involves getting your husband's bow and shooting the deer in the side yard [no matter that you've never shot a bow in your life] just because he told you to, by all means, don't do it. That's just unacceptably unreasonable impulsivity.)

All this to say, there's beauty in life, homemade or otherwise.

Thanks, Chayli!!! I suddenly discovered (Oh! She's writing again!) and I had about nine posts to catch up on. They were lovely. I am grateful for the light in them. Can't wait to see you!
